What should my child wear?
For all students loose fitting clothing must be worn to allow freedom of movement. Girls may wear shorts and a t-shirt or a leotard. Boys are encouraged to wear shorts and a t-shirt. Gymnastics shoes are recommended for personal health and safety. Gymnastics shoes as well as a wide selection of gymnastics apparel are available for purchase in the gymschool proshop.

Are there any make-ups?
We offer ONE make-up per session for classes that are missed. If IGS cancels classes due to inclement weather, a make-up class can be scheduled to accommodate the missed class.

How do I find out about class cancellations?
In the event of inclement weather, class cancellations will be posted on our website and a message left on our voice mail system. Please keep in mind that your school may be closed but we may be open and vice versa. Also, cancellations can occur at any time during the day depending on weather conditions so please check throughout the day/evening before your child's class.

How much does it cost?
There is a registration fee of $35 per family per season. Please see individual programs for specific cost information. If you have more than one child attending, please ask our office staff about our sibling discounts. An additional $10.00 charge will be applied to your account if your payment is not received in our office by the first day of each session. Failure to make a payment by the second class of the session will result in your child being dropped from the class.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We now only accept credit cards via our online portal. We DO NOT accept cash, check or money order for any payments.

I need to take my child out of class, is there a refund?
Tuition fees, less classes attended and a processing charge of $20.00, are refundable with written notification of cancellation at the end of the child's second scheduled class.

All fees are non-refundable at the conclusion of the child's second scheduled class.
